So this is me Christine Cayuga, born and raised in Hamilton and a proud Mohawk woman from Six Nations. I’ve lived and worked in Hamilton my whole life, building strong roots in both my community and my work.
I believe in being straight forward and up front, I’m organized and hard working, not afraid to ask questions willing to stay late and work hard. Working with positive people helps turn out positive results
I’m the owner of Gage Park Diner and a homeowner in Ward 3, where I live with my common-law partner Paul . I’m a mother of three and a grandmother of four, and my family means everything to me.
I’ve had a diverse career — from working in non-profit housing and at the Friendship Centre, cashier in the LCBO , food industry, and office administration. My journey has taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and community service.
Went to high school and post-secondary studies in Computer Business, which has supported my work across different sectors and as a small business owner.
Beyond my career, I actively engage in my community. I sit on the Board of Directors with the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre and serve as an Ex Officio with the Aboriginal Indian Centre. I also volunteer as a union steward and regularly give my time to local events and initiatives that strengthen our community ties.
I understand the importance of policy and procedures , strategic planning, operating cost and budgeting.
I love to try new foods, attend festivals, and spend time gardening. Whether I’m in a kitchen, an office, or at a board table reviewing policies and procedures, I bring passion, integrity, and a commitment to making a difference.
I love and adore my grandchildren and family and friends , my homelife is simple.

Today, many people are understandably cautious about opening their doors to strangers. My campaign team will leave a flyer with our contact information so you can reach me by phone or email at your convenience . If you have any questions , concerns or would like to learn more about my platform, I welcome you to get in touch.
This summer, an again in the fall before election date, I will be renting space to host a community meet and greet events. Snacks and refreshments will be provided , and the space will be child- friendly and welcoming to all.
These gatherings will be an opportunity to discuss my platform, the upcoming elections and the issues and concerns that matter most to our community .
